Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Avoidable Apps ("we", "our", "us") and our suite of productivity applications, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our services.

Use of Services

Our productivity applications are designed to enhance your workflow and reduce digital distractions. When using our services, please note:

  • You may use our services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
  • Free trials are offered at our discretion and may be modified or withdrawn at any time.
  • Paid subscriptions are billed via Stripe and subject to their terms and conditions.
  • You agree not to attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from our applications.

User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account using your email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Please notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account.

We use Supabase for authentication and data storage, which provides enterprise-grade security for your personal information.

Beta Testing Program

During our beta testing phase, users acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • Limited Service Level Agreements (SLAs): Beta services are provided on a best-effort basis without guaranteed uptime or performance commitments. Standard SLA terms do not apply during the beta period.
  • Continuous Updates: We actively release updates, features, and improvements throughout the beta phase. Changes may be deployed without advance notice, and features may be modified or removed based on testing outcomes.
  • Change Management: Beta participants should expect ongoing changes to functionality, user interfaces, and integrations as we refine the product based on user feedback and technical requirements.
  • Support: Beta support is provided on a best-effort basis. Response times may vary and are not subject to standard support SLAs.
  • Data and Privacy: While we maintain standard security practices, beta participants acknowledge that systems are under active development and testing.
  • Pricing: Beta pricing terms are promotional and subject to change upon completion of the beta program, with advance notice to participants.

Service Availability

We rely on third-party platforms including Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting), and other infrastructure providers to deliver our services. While we aim to provide reliable services with maximum uptime, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

You can check our current operational status and any ongoing incidents at our status page, which provides real-time monitoring of all our applications and services.

Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, software, and intellectual property related to Avoidable Apps remain our exclusive property or that of our licensors. This includes but is not limited to our application code, user interface designs, logos, and proprietary algorithms.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent from Avoidable Apps.

Data Privacy & Security

We take your privacy seriously and comply with applicable data protection laws. Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

We use industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect your data, but please note that no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

Subscription & Billing

Our applications operate on a freemium model with optional paid subscriptions for premium features. Subscription billing is handled through Stripe, and you agree to their terms of service for payment processing.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings, and cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period.

Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in behavior that we determine to be harmful to other users or our services. Upon termination, your right to use our services will cease immediately.

You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting our support team or using the account deletion feature in your settings.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Avoidable Apps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services, including but not limited to loss of data, lost profits, or business interruption.

Our total liability to you for any claims related to our services shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services will be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of New South Wales.

Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or applicable law. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date and, where required by law, by sending you an email notification.

Your continued use of our services after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
