Reclaim is a desktop activity monitoring tool that tracks your application usage, window titles, and time spent across different activities. It provides insights into your work patterns, helps identify time-wasting activities, and promotes healthy work-life balance.

Getting Started

Desktop Agent Required

Reclaim requires the desktop agent app to be installed and running on your computer.

  1. Download the Reclaim desktop agent from your Dashboard
  2. Install and launch the agent on your computer
  3. Authenticate the agent with your device code
  4. The agent will start tracking activity in the background
  5. View analytics in the Reclaim dashboard

Desktop Agent

The Reclaim desktop agent is built with Tauri 2.8+ and runs as a system tray application. It:

  • Monitors active applications and window titles
  • Records activity every 10 seconds
  • Stores logs locally: C:\Users\[User]\AppData\Roaming\Reclaim\logs
  • Syncs data to Supabase when online
  • Runs silently in the background with minimal resource usage

Privacy & Data

Reclaim is designed with privacy in mind:

  • No screenshots or keylogging - only app names and window titles
  • Data stays on your device until you choose to sync
  • You control what data is uploaded
  • Logs can be reviewed locally before sync
  • No third-party analytics or tracking

FAQ

Does Reclaim work on Mac/Linux?

Currently, Reclaim is Windows-only. Mac and Linux support is planned for future releases.

Can I pause tracking?

Yes, you can pause/resume tracking from the system tray icon.

What happens if I'm offline?

Activity continues to be logged locally. Data will sync when you're back online.

Can I delete my tracking data?

Yes, you can delete local logs from the agent dashboard or clear synced data from the web dashboard.
